HOUSTON PREMIERE OF DOCUMENTARY FILM - Islamic Art: Mirror of the Invisible World

From Executive Producers Michael Wolfe and Alex Kronemer and Director Rob Gardner, UPF is proud to present its latest documentary film, Islamic Art: Mirror of the Invisible World. Exploring themes such as the Word, Space, Ornament, Color, and Water, the film takes audiences on a global journey to present the stories behind the masterworks of Islamic Art and Architecture. Event length: 2.5 hours.

Houston's Channel 8 "PBS Kids Go!" Writing Contest: DUA Southwest Students are First Place Finalists, Receive Honorable Mention

Three of our students who entered this year’s PBS Kids Go! Writing Contest, were recently honored for their wonderful literary compositions! Kindergarten students Shameer Khan and Abdullah Hashmi as well as first grader Rafay Khan, were among young author honorees at the annual event. Congratulations for a job well done!
